Mileage All quotations are made from collection to delivery point, charged by the loaded mile. All distances are based on Map Point Database using the quickest route available (please note, this is not necessarily the shortest in mileage). Rates Contract or high quantity customers are quoted separately. For Express, Overnight/European, Local & National Deliveries the following rates apply:
Any distance less than 25 loaded miles, a standard £20.00 collection charge applies. Return load rates, as above - 50%. Waiting Time From the agreed booking or arrival time, first 15 minutes, no charge. Each subsequent 15 minutes (or part thereof) £15.00. Unless previously agreed. Loading Time From the agreed booking or arrival time, first 15 minutes, no charge. Each subsequent 15 minutes (or part thereof) £15.00. Unless previously agreed. London Surcharges apply for London addresses inside the M25 circle. Mileage calculated from crossing or joining the M25 will be charged at +50% on the applied tariff. Congestion charges for inner London (or any applicable City) charged at cost. Extras Bridge Tolls, Ferry Crossings, and Overnight Accommodation, Subcontracting, Parking and Sundry necessary expenses charged at cost. (Not applicable where an inclusive ‘lump sum’ quote is offered). V.A.T. All rates and charges quoted here exclude V.A.T. this will be charged at the appropriate rate. Settlement Terms are strictly net. Settlement, due 30 days from invoice date. Conditions apply, see invoice. |
